Catherine LeRoy was last year presented with the Marie Curie Nurseof the Year Award. The 40-year-old from Redland has worked with theorganisation for nearly three years. She is also a bereavementvolunteer, as well as helping set up a children's group to supportyoungsters coping with the effects of cancer at St Peter's Hospice.
Here she tells us about her job.
MARIE Curie Nurses travel up to about 20 miles or so to get to ourpatients.Being based in Bristol, I might find myself in all types ofhomes - from a terraced house in a deprived area to a grand detachedhome in a leafy suburb.
